Beta terms
These plain-language terms govern use of Limn’s current public GitHub design-partner beta. The beta is experimental and is not a paid production service.
Last updated August 9, 2026
By using the beta, you agree to these terms. If you are using Limn for an organization, you confirm that you are allowed to accept these terms for that organization.
Current service
Limn provides a hosted review layer for public GitHub Markdown files. The beta may change, become unavailable, lose data, or be discontinued. There is no paid plan, uptime commitment, support-response commitment, or service-level agreement in effect.
Your responsibilities
- Use Limn only with repositories and content you are authorized to access and discuss.
- Do not submit secrets, confidential material, personal records, regulated data, malware, unlawful content, or content that infringes another person’s rights.
- Do not probe, disrupt, overload, or bypass the service or another user’s access.
- Keep your GitHub account and Limn session secure, and report suspected compromise.
Your content
You keep the rights you hold in comments and other content you submit. You give Limn permission to host, process, display, and transmit that content as needed to provide and operate the beta. You are responsible for having the rights needed to grant that permission.
Public-repository threads may be readable by anyone who opens the corresponding file in Limn.
Suspension and removal
Limn may restrict access or remove content when reasonably necessary to protect the service, other users, third parties, or comply with law. Because the product is a beta, Limn may also stop operating all or part of it.
Experimental service
The beta is provided as available and without a guarantee that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure against every threat, or suitable for a particular purpose. To the extent permitted by applicable law, Limn disclaims implied warranties. Do not rely on Limn as the only copy of information you need to preserve.
Questions or changes
These terms may change as the beta changes. The date above identifies the published version. Questions can be submitted through the contact form.
